Having a holiday budget is helpful for keeping money in your pockets during the holiday season. These steps can help you spend, shop, and keep money without affecting your monthly budget.
Get a seasonal job/Temporarily work overtime:
Instead of using your regular monthly income for holiday shopping, use this extra income for holiday shopping and holiday groceries to avoid affecting your monthly budget.
Budget from your Income:
If you do not want to pick up a seasonal job or work overtime, come up with a set budget as to how much you can afford to spend on holiday shopping without affecting your monthly budget.
Shop for Deals:
Look for stores with the best holiday deals that will help you stay within your holiday budget.
Make your Gift List:
Write a list of all the people you will be gifting this holiday season and allocate a set amount you can afford to spend on each person's gift; and then stay within that amount when shopping for their gifts.
Have a Holiday Grocery List:
If you are planning to cook a big dinner for the holiday, budget a grocery list for the holiday dinner that is separate from your usual monthly grocery budget. This will help you spend money on holiday groceries while still having groceries for the rest of the month.
Planning Helps!
Budgeting and planning for the holidays can help you have a successful holiday without breaking your pockets and affecting your monthly budget. So, let's create that plan and be stress free this holiday season.

Discipline is Key🗝️

This is really good! I love planning and whenever I make lists of family and friends that I will be gifting and budgeting what I earn keeps me on track with my finances. I will try the other tips all but the get another job lol.
I need to make a gift list because be creeping up on my list out the blue. That is such a good idea! I also like the idea of not using my paycheck to fund gifts. Although it makes it a bit harder, it stretches my creativity..
